Children’s Ministry

Kim Allen

The mission of the Kids R.O.C.K. Children’s Ministry is to introduce children to Christ, encourage and equip children who have professed faith in Christ, and partner with parents in the discipleship of their children. We believe parents are the primary disciplers of their children (Deut.6:6-9), and we seek to support you in this very important calling to raise kids who will receive, love, and follow Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Kids R.O.C.K. (Resting On Christ the King) is a place where kids spend time learning the basics of the faith, primarily through Scripture. Each Sunday begins with lesson review and Scripture memory in our large group time. Bible study takes place in age-appropriate small groups, using Gospel-centered curriculum and resources. Small groups are divided as follows:

  • Pebbles: 2½ years old – PreK
  • Nuggets: K - 2nd grades
  • Boulders: 3rd - 5th grades

Our infants discover and learn about God and their world in a stimulating and engaging environment that connects them to God’s truth. The curriculum focuses on: God’s Creation, God’s Provision, God’s Presence, and God’s Protection.

Location and Time

Our nursery is located at our church campus office area. We currently do not offer nursery care during our Bible Study hour. Children may be dropped off as early as 10:15am for the worship hour. Children should be picked up immediately after the 10:30am service is over.

Bible study for PreK-5th grades is located at our church campus office area. Children will start in the Adult Bible Study at 8:45am and be dismissed with their classes after our time of worship through praise. All children should be picked up immediately after Adult Bible Study is over.
