CloseLuis Contreras
Luis Contreras was born in Mexico. In the early 1990s, a missionary gave to him her library as a gift. Among the books were study materials from Pastor John MacArthur and advertisements for The Master’s College and Seminary in California. After much prayer and the Lord’s providence, Luis was able to attend both the college and seminary. While attending these schools from 1996 to 2002, Luis served in Spanish Ministries at Grace Community Church, taking on the roles of shepherding and translation work. During this time, he married Robin and, not long after, became the father of three children—Olivia, Rodrigo, and Ana Gabriela. In 2002, he was ordained by Grace Community Church to the Gospel ministry and also graduated from seminary (Master of Divinity (M.Div) -2002; Master of Theology (Th.M) -2010). That same year, he and his family packed up for the mission field in the city of his birth, Mexico City.
Goals:
- To assist in teaching men at the Word of Grace Biblical Seminary in Mexico City in order to raise up more preachers of the Word in Mexico
