Philippines 2012

The next international short-term missions trip for CASM is scheduled for the Summer of 2012. The main purpose of the trip is to aid CASM-supported missionaries and organizations that are serving full-time in the Philippines.

In May 2011, CASM sent a short-term team to the Philippines for the first time. On that trip, we were graciously hosted by missionaries Sean and Jessica Ransom, with The Master’s Academy International. Under their guidance, we saw just a fraction of the great need of the people in that country. A need for training in sound Biblical preaching and teaching; a need for a strong Christian witness to people at all levels of society; a need for food, clothing, shelter, healthcare and education among the impoverished. While we left feeling incredibly blessed to have been there to minister alongside these servants, we also felt that we can do so much more. For that reason, we are going back to the Philippines with a desire to minister more intensively to the impoverished. The Ransoms have many contacts in such reputable organizations as Kids International Ministries and Action International Ministries. By partnering with these types of organizations potentially in construction projects, medical assistance, teaching, etc., we pray that God will make us useful servants in speaking of the love and Lordship of Christ while showing that same love through our actions.
