In this passage, the Apostle Paul offers us a reminder about our position in Christ, which is the foundation of our sanctification. He shows us that spiritual-mindedness is connected with our realization of our union with Christ. The reason we seek to set our minds on heavenly things is because we have died to sin and have been made alive to God. At His coming, Christ will be revealed and us with Him.
